In this role, you’ll design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring they look great, perform well, and align with SEO and UX best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop visually appealing, responsive WordPress websites from scratch or by customizing existing themes.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements and client needs.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with content creators, SEO specialists, and developers to implement updates and improvements.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and maintain mobile-first, fully responsive designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, themes, plugins, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience designing and developing WordPress websites with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Proficiency in WordPress theme and plugin customization.
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and website performance optimization.
- Strong eye for design and knowledge of UX/UI best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with deadlines.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
