As cryptocurrency adoption grows, the need for secure, user-friendly wallet applications has become critical. Most existing wallets are either highly technical (alienating mainstream users) or overly simplistic (lacking features that active crypto users need). A blockchain startup approached GrowwTech to design a mobile crypto wallet that could serve as both a secure storage vault and an active trading companion — with a design that inspires confidence and trust.

The Challenge

The crypto wallet space had several persistent UX problems:

• Users struggled to understand multi-chain support — which blockchain their tokens were on and why it mattered
• Portfolio valuation was often delayed or inaccurate, eroding trust
• Currency exchange features were buried in settings or required navigating to external platforms
• Security perception was low — users didn’t trust the app with their assets because the design didn’t communicate security
• Onboarding flows failed to educate users about seed phrases, private keys, and backup procedures

Our Solution

GrowwTech designed a crypto wallet application that makes security visible and asset management effortless. The home screen immediately communicates financial health (total balance, 24h change), while deeper screens provide portfolio analytics, multi-chain management, and in-app currency exchange – all wrapped in a design language that exudes trust and professionalism.

Technical Approach

Key Features Delivered

• At-a-Glance Home Screen: The home screen prominently displays the total account balance in the user’s preferred fiat currency, with a currency and blockchain selector directly below. Users can switch between chains and currencies with a single tap, seeing their balances update in real time.

• Portfolio Evaluation Dashboard: A dedicated analytics screen shows portfolio composition by asset, historical performance (24H, 7D, 30D, 1Y), and individual token performance. Visual pie charts and trend lines make complex multi-asset portfolios understandable at a glance.

• In-App Token Exchange: Users can swap tokens directly within the wallet without navigating to an external exchange. The interface previews the exchange rate, network fee, estimated slippage, and final amount before confirmation — building confidence in every transaction.

• Security-First Design: Every interaction that involves funds movement (send, swap, withdraw) includes clear confirmation screens with transaction details, biometric verification, and visual security indicators. The design communicates “your assets are protected” at every step.
